DO NOT BE FOOLED. This is NOT a "new company". ContactThem.com has scam reports dating back to 2003!!!
If you own a website I'm guessing you have found propositions in your email box from a company called "ContactThem.com". Your proposition probably reads just like the 30 or more I get a day:
Hi,
We've seen your website at
http://paidopps.blogspot.com/2007/05/need-money-fast-my-favorite-paid-to.htmland we love it!
We see that your traffic rank is 237266
and your link popularity is 3.
Also, you have been online since 31/07/2000.
With that kind of traffic, we will pay you up to $4,800/month
to advertise our links on your website.
If you're interested, read our terms from this page:

THE TOTAL TRUTH ABOUT THIS COMPANY:
This is nothing more than a cutting edge scam. It was created by Stephan Ducharme AKA The Biggest Scammer on the Web. Stephan is also the scam artist who created of the FreeAdGuru, My Affiliate Finder and the rip off ebook "how to get 1 million visitors to your site" which is totally useless.
Stephan is a complete thief. There's hundreds of pages all over the net filled with endless complaints of refund refusals.
DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THESE PRODUCTS.
Contactthem.com *supposedly* offers totally free MLM leads for ANYONE! And the kicker is that this "company" will *supposedly* PAY YOU up to $4,800 A MONTH to use their program and place their links on your site.
HOW IT *REALLY* WORKS
ContactThem.com software extracts details out of databases and allows you to do a mass mailing with all of that personalized information - Basically, you ARE sending total SPAM. Spam IS a crime and it can get you in a sh*t load of trouble (CAN-SPAM Act of 2003). Best of all, with the ContactThem.com program you're sending spam with YOUR PERSONAL INFO ON IT.
WHY CONTACT THEM CAN BE A LEGAL MESS FOR YOU
The CAN-SPAM Act defines commercial messages as those for which the primary purpose is to advertise or promote a commercial product or service. The messages you are sending on behalf of ContactThem are 100% spam because:
1. You are sending UNATHORIZED Mass Emails
2. Those Emails are NOT Labeled as Advertisements, so they are MISLEADING and Misrepresenting!
3. There is no "opt out"/ "unsubscribe" link
4. You are not providing ANY contact information in relation to the company you are representing within your email. All commercial e-mail, and e-mail considered transactional and relationship messages (about existing transactions), must contain legitimate return e-mail addresses, as well as the sender's postal address
Now, lets get to the part you really want to know - PAY...or lack there of. This system is NOT going to pay you a single cent UNLESS you get people to PURCHASE memberships (Stephan calls them "Upgrades"). So you can send out 10,000 spams and still be as broke as you we're before you pissed off a ton of people.
"What Does the Upgrade Cost?", you ask - a whopping $50...A MONTH!
But wait! It gets even better! The main reason people are promoting this company is the "20 Tier Affiliate Program"...But of course, these people obviously didn't READ... So in the fine print on the site it says the following:
As a "free affiliate" (that's you) you'll earn commissions on PAYING MEMBERS for the first two tiers. BUT you're NOT going to earn a single thing from level 3 and up UNLESS those members are active in the program. "Active" means the member has to make $1,000 OR MORE! Three words describe this best: AINT GONNA HAPPEN.
And just when you think the program cant get worse, it does...
Once you reach your 5th level of referrals, you wont get credited for those unless the person has 1.) Made over $1,000 and B.) referred 20 more members.
As the levels get higher they get more and more ridiculous. Level 9 is like "In order to reciecve referral pay, member must grow antlers and make it snow while eating a chalupa" - just kidding, but its damn close to that.
So do yourself a HUGE favor right now and report the message you were sent. If you don't want to report it, then at least delete it. Stay clear away from this company or YOU will ultimately pay. Mr. Ducharme is using you as a pawn to avoid directly breaking the law. By inserting his links on your site you are giving this company page rank. DON'T DO IT!
What You Can Do About Commercial E-Mail You Receive on Non-Wireless Devices, Such as Your Computer at Home
For commercial e-mail you receive on your non-wireless devices, you can file a complaint with the FTC. To file a complaint with the FTC or to get free information on spam issues in general, visit http://www.ftc.gov/spam/ or call 1-877-382-4357 voice; 1-866-653-4261 TTY.
However, if you decide that you are cool with sending spam, running the risk of being reported and fine with not getting paid...EVER, then here's more info you need to know:
When you register with ContactThem.com you will have to download a program onto your computer. You will also have to give them your personal info before you reach the download point. This means that for as long as you live at your home, use your computer (IP address) and have that same phone number, you will forever be a part of scams and Mr. Ducharme.
And, if you are still interested in becoming part of ContactThem, here's another tidbit you may enjoy:
If you actually read the e-book Stephan wrote you will discover that the 160 page pdf file tells you exactly how Stephan runs his scams. Ill summarize it for ya so you don't have to waste your cash (about $190) -
Get a website. Itll cost about $50 a month.
Know web design or hire it out.
Sell a product. (Especially if its through clickbank, like he does. Then each order gives you even more cash)
Join viral marketing programs and use them to find suckers
Get suckers to promote your product
Make the suckers spend spam out on their own so you don't risk getting busted.
Set the bar way to high so they cant cash out while you get sale after sale
Cheat search engines (This WILL get you busted and lose EVERYTHING - not mentioned in book)
Then its basically him trying to sell you his products. Product after product.
There are NO positive reviews on this book. You may find a few but they're obviously written by someone who has something to gain by promoting the scam.
