Short Poem: Clerihew

I thought I would try my hand at a poem, but I wanted to do something different. I decided to write a Clerihew. Here's some information about this type of poetry:

A humorous format contained in a single quatrain and composed of two rhyming couplets. The rhyme scheme is a-a-b-b with lines of uneven length.

Sleep

My bed is always my friend
I don't want sleep to end
Somehow though I always wake up tired
Maybe it should be fired

Don't applaud too much. I know it was just really lovely for you, but give me a break. It's my first time :)
