Who Cooks In Your House?

In my household the men are the cooks in the house.  I taught both my husband and my 14 year old how to cook, and they have perfected it!  They are now the main chefs in the house,  I cook the more complicated things for holidays and special occassions, but they do the majority of the day to day cooking.

I do 99.9% of the cooking in our house. My husband is not a good cook and he's a messy one too. His cooking skills are good enough to re-heat things in the microwave, make macaroni & cheese from a box, and heat frozen chicken nuggets in the oven. So, the only time he cooks is on the weekends while I'm running errands, he'll make lunch for him and our son.

I do the cooking in my house. I also provide the entry in the monthly potluck at my wife's workplace. Her co-workers are all in love with me!

My husband is the cook in our household. He is one of the best cooks I know, and can make anything we want from scratch.

My hubby and I have very different diets, and taste, so he cooks for himself, and I cook for myself.

We both do. I love to cook more "gourmet" food, and my husband is a "meat and potato" kind of guy (I came home last night and he'd prepared a turkey breast, mashed potatoes and peas, kind of a compromise for the two of us).

I grew up thinking that men cooked. My grandfather, father and all uncles did.
My husband is a terrific cook. I do the daily boring stuff.
The sunday dinners and special events he does. Well except Italian..that is my specialty.

Me, but that is very rare...........I hate cooking with a passion unless it is some of those easy crockpot recipes!! One great reason to be on gather, - I have found lots of crockpot recipes!!!! LOL
Nick cooks a lot, but I cook as well.

I do 100% as my husband can't even boil water without asking where things are! My son is getting to the point where he can help with bigger things in the kitchen but still hasn't tried cooking anything for me or for himself.
