Due to the exciting turnout of responses to the first prompt, I am urged to contribute another visual prompt from my husband's art collection.
Again, anybody can submit a work of art inspired by writing, or writing inspired by a different work of art. In the meantime, here is another painting to spark the widest variety of stories from you, oh wonderful Gather members. This group is looking for poetry, short stories, long stories, fiction, creative non-fiction, micro fiction, and other such written works of art. We alsoo welcome other artforms as inspiration for the writers.
Do not allow the "Monitored" warning to scare you. I am just weeding out any unrelated submissions.
At this time, I would like to thank all those who contributed to "Writing Inspired By Art Inspired By Writing" group. Your imaginations have opened new and old worlds for the rest of us with much entertainment and heartfelt emotion. Now let's take on a new theme!
Cheers!
Laura Beck Nielsen

Jamieson's Poetry for the "Poem of the Week" which is also read in streaming audio. Bookmark it and return in four weeks to see a poem inspired by her art.
Leland, I appreciate your suggestions. I will definitely check them out, and encourage other members to do the same.
