No, not Christmas. By the time March rolls around, I'm half insane. Missouri just isn't good to ride much in the wintertime anyway. This season, we had snow and ice so often, I think I was in the cage all but a few days.
But here we are. The floods here have left some gravel to think about, but all of that steady, hard rain washed the salt and cinders away.
I yanked my freakin' battery for the second time in so many months, and now it's on the trickle charger to just. make. sure.
Can't wait.
I have dreams about the feel of the sun on my arms, the sound of my bike under me, the way the world looks through amber goggles. As much as I hate it, I miss getting smacked with bugs. I miss riding until the sun is gone (and not at 4PM either). I miss the smells.
Here's me and my ride.

Got a pic of yours? Let's see 'em.

Welcome Spring and good riding weather. (although it's snowing in Chicago today)
Thanks CC Miranda. I love my bike. I'm seeing more and more riding around, and it just makes me determined to get that battery problem fixed and on two wheels again.
There are many mental health benefits to the ride.
He could have worse hobbies and interests.

I'll give you a picture of mine...but it was taken in 1955.

Last night, on the History Channel, they had the episode of Gangland that featured the Outlaws (1%ers) - holy scary! They are just as scary as the Bloods (which was the episode before the Outlaws).
Love the wind blowing through my hair and the warmth of the sun beating down on me.
BTW, nice picture of you and the bike:)
Nice wheels Amigo!!! I'm "saving" for my Harley as we speak. "Dad" duties come first, but I hope I can get there soon. Isn't spring just great? It has broke here in Colorado too and everyone's getting out and enjoying the outdoors again. I can't wait to go camping and fishing this year.
Hey? I published that article that was really a HUGE comment to you in disguise. Take a look and give me your thoughts, my friend.
