Pregnancy Update...

Hello well it has been quite a while since I have updated my pregnancy..

I am 25 weeks. Due July 9th. Planning on inducing June 26th. Kairi Victoria is her name. "Kyree not Carrie!" She is an active baby inside the womb ;) I have a few contractions a day.. Nothing serious!Really feels like them anyways..  I have heartburn quite a bit and eat alot of tums and take Nexium or zantac.. I weigh 191 now. Gained 6 lbs.. My belly has grown tremendously lately.. I measured 42-43 inches at about 13 weeks.. Now Im 25 weeks and just measured 46" Too me thats alot. Not bad I guess since I have only gained 6 lbs.. My uterus has measured 2 weeks big from the start so maybe thats why..
I went to the hospital Friday March 21st to make sure I was not leaking amniotc fluid.. thought I might have.. guess not.. They did say my "contractions" were uterine irritability because I had another UTI. I have had them this whole pregnancy! They told me its very common for pregnant women to get them. I was also informed the more pregnancys you have.. the harder they get.. Oh well thast news I thought it would be easier since your body knew what to do but I was wrong.. No wonder I am crampy and tired and back aches alot this time.. Did not think much of it.. It is hard giving the boys a bath now cause too much in the front to lean over now :) Oh well we will get by! Not much longer to go.

Just a few more months. An old wives tale says that if you have heartburn the baby will be born with a head of hair. Our second came home in pigtales and pink ribbons. I had heartburn the whole time. I'm sure you can't wait for her to be born and neither can we. :) Glad to hear you're doing okay.

By the way the wise tale about heartburn not true in my case. Megan had a whole head of hair and thick as could be and I had none. In fact my cravings was taco's and anything spicy

I thought it was easier each time, too. Oh well, glad to hear that you are doing well. I had really bad heartburn when I was pregnant with RJ, I popped those TUMS like they were candy :) Good luck with the induction!

At least you are keeping an upbeat attitude. I remember how long the months seemed when I had my sons, but now it seems that years just fly by.

cool name,, gdaughter went for her wieght cheek up,, she gain 4 oz,, she lost 5 in hosptial,, daughter wiegh herself,, she lost 25 pounds, she only gain no more the 15 in this pregnacy so she is way below she was to begin with... more picture tonite,,

I agree with the old wives tail about heartburn and hairy babies. My son was 9 pounds even at birth and had hair that was 2-3 inches long all over his head! It was so much hair, that the nurse actually stopped delivering him to brush his hair! I couldn't believe it. Here I had this kid hanging half way out and the nurse was grooming him! LOL

He also was born with hair all down his back and legs, and a mustache too. The nurse said it would fall off, but it never did, and he's 3 yrs old now. We just call him our little monkey! Hahaa!

Wow, I bet the days are just flying by. I love the name Tiffany, and I especially love the spelling. My son's name is Skyler Kai, and although everyone thought it was a silly name back in Denmark, it sure seems to have grown on them.

I had utis through my whole pregnancy with my daughter it was horrible. It made me thin out early but even though I was having early labor I didnt go into early delivery if that makes sense.

I didnt know I had a UTI with my son but I should have realized it from the symtoms. At the end I got really sick. I couldnt get off the couch and I had a 103 fever for about a week. When I was contracting with him in labor it was so horrible the pain there was excruciating because of the UTI. If I hadent had the UTI it wouldnt have been bad at all. Every contraction was this horrible stabbing pain there and when I was pushing. I could just feel it like all the way up my urethra.

The uti made me thin out again but not as early as I was taking this mineral to postpone going into labor before a certain amount of weeks. The uti put me into labor 2 1/2 weeks before my due date.

Goodness Tiffany, I try to visit all of your article and images, I dont think I have missed any but will check and see.
Pregnancy isnt different but the terms and everything have changed. We didnt want to know what it would be, we were always totally surprised. Guess knowing helps. But what if they are wrong and you have spent all your money on a girl and its a boy.LOL

The latest word I had from the ob is that they are likely to do the c-section on July 10th. It's being scheduled because it's my 5th baby and the 3rd c-section. I did have a VBAC but had a lot of bleeding and we can't risk that again. Oddly enough it was the easiest birth process of the four -- she shot out in 6 hours and I had to scream to keep the doctor from heading out for lunch! LOL.
