I would only make a couple changes by using fresh ginger and garlic and adding in some fresh lime juice. Some fresh herbs would be nice, but not essential. Try tarragon, thyme, dill, whatever you like on salmon.

and lots of garlic
I rarely use basil or oregano with fish. But I am getting tarragon next shopping trip. I think it's perfect for fish, even with the garlic :)
