The other day while walking past our local main post office my friends and I suddenly found ourselves under heavy sniper fire. I yelled, "Suck it up sissies!" and quickly led my dazed friends to protection behind a large mail box as the sniper continued to fire away.
The shooter shot his weapon at anything and anyone that moved. A hail of hot lead filled the air and ground all around us. Everywhere we could hear the thud of bullets. My friends, frozen in terror, looked towards me for my reputation of skilled, stoic leadership. And while they screamed in panic-driven horror I casually took out a Milky Way and begin chomping on it and turned my Walkman's volumne up as a statement of my calm leadership and fortitude under fire.
Then just as sudden as it had started, the firing stopped.
Turns out it was no more then a postal worker on his morning break trying to kill some time.
:O)
