First Tracks Contest, and for everyone who...

Hey everyone,

I wanted to put up a posting for two things.

FIRSTLY, like many members on here, I'm involved in the First Tracks contest. I'm really excited about it, and I've put up two videos/songs. The first is a song of mine in French, and the second one (the one that I need votes for now) is in English. I play guitar and sing, a lovely girl named Ema sings and plays ukelele, and an Italian named Giulio is on bass. Anyway, I'm a passionate musician, and I'd love for you to come see what I do and (possibly) vote for me.

SECONDLY, I'm starting my OWN music contest (which I'll post more about tomorrow) on YouTube. I've been posting videos there for about a year, and I've been featured twice. I talked to my friends at the company, and they're going to try and feature this new music contest. For more information, watch my explanatory video. I pulled my music out of that contest as soon as I found out my rights to ownership of the recording(s) could be taken- see, the music industry is a bit shady- keeping your steps well swept clean of debris is the key- the music industry has changed and the little guy doesn't need the big boy(s) for everything. The only benefit, that I can see, is promotion. From there... who knows. Also, the key to making money is live performance. Paying off the re-coupment record company fees can keep you from earning what is yours. I did my reading on this stuff. Hopefully you have a good attorney to look over your documents.
