Using this recipe: http://homecooking.about.com/od/breadrecipes/r/blbread90.htm I made a simple loaf of ricotta bread for dinner tonight. The only changes I made were using skim milk in place of half and half and increasing the amount of butter to 3 T.
This bread was incredibly soft and tender. It actually reminded me of a croissant: lightly sweet and buttery with pull apart layers.
