Do I really need more complications in my life right now?! Probably not, but when has that ever resulted in my being a rational or logical person :-) We were going to wait until Mac was potty-trained before adding a dog to our family -- although I must admit that at the rate we are going Mac may not be potty-trained until college! We're going to try and get that accomplished this summer but I suspect that my son is at least as stubborn as I am if not more! Anyway, we were going to wait. But then I found this puppy and that changed everything -- doesn't it often happen that way :-) She's part Corgi and part shepherd. I've always wanted a Corgi but certainly can't afford one and here is a half-Corgi in need of a home. Isn't that just the cutest face? :-) If all goes according to plan she will be joining our family this Friday. I'm pretty nervous, it's been a while since I've had a puppy around. We've only had cats for a long time. And I can only imagine what the cats are going to think -- especially William Oranges who is the "baby" and is not going to want to share that honor. Life is going to be rather interesting for the next couple weeks I suspect! And she needs a name -- I thought I'd bring her home on Friday and each family member can suggest some names and see what fits her best. But if anyone ahs suggestions let me know -- I can't seem to come up with anything appealing at the moment. She has to have the perfect name of course :-) Updates will be forthcoming, of course :-)

I too have a child, who is just as stubborn as myself, and it can definitely be a challenge at times.

I have always had pets but we haven't had any since we lost our last house. Susan
This puppy has a sweet face. I hope everything goes well with your fam adjusting to the new baby!
