The U.S. Justice Department finally cleared the way for Sirius to buy out XM Radio, thus creating one big Satellite Radio company. According to the news I read, current rates will remain the same. I think this is pretty exciting because subscribers will have access to many more radio stations. It's no surprise that shares of each company's stock grew after the news came out. I am currently a Sirius subscriber, so it'll be neat to see what changes. I just hope they don't make me buy a new radio!
