Pushlishing photos headache

Oh my lord! I have been publishing and adding photos to my articles. When I first add the html in, the pic shows up really small and squished together. So, I delete it. But than I add the html back in the same way I had it and it shows up the right way. Go figure!! So, why isn't it taking the first time? This is more of a headcahe than not. Is anyone else having this problem?

i havent added pics to any articles lately but adding pics is a pain altogether it seems lol.

I haven't written one lately, but I usually just upload the photo in the publishing tool, and then click and drag it over into it...

pictures on here mystify me. someone told me how to make them big, and it just doesn't work for me.

Kathryn- clicking on the small ones uploaded should open up a window of a big one, that you can then drag over into your article. I'm no PC expert, but maybe your settings on your PC are stopping it... like a pop-up blocker or something? Maybe you should ask the question in the Building A Better Gather group, or Daily Help Article; it is run by Gather for questions and ideas. Good Luck.

I've had that problem. I didn't bother deleting - I just let it be. It did seem to resolve itself eventually - perhaps a refresh problem or something?

Perform a copy/paste for each photo if the other way annoys you, and it annoys me too. Gather changing things around makes photo processing within article publishing a chore now instead of fun. But copy/paste works really nicely . . .
