How are you doing on your points today? The last couple of days, mine seem to be moving much faster and I am not sure why. don't get me wrong, I am sure not complaining nor am I becoming a millionaire on Gather points, but I have been pleased.

So, where are you at? I cashed out less than a week ago and I am now at about 315 points which is really good for me....

You are moving along good. My points are slow. There are trolls on here that knock people down all the time, so I usually opt not to take the ratings. So I have to depend on comments. I just plug along. Have fun.

It seems as though you are the one with such good luck. I don't think mine changed at all over the last couple days. I am on the cash option and it is a bit slower to see increases. It does not increase by cents - instead it increases by dollars.

Lucky you to get point raises. :)

I'm doing really well considering I've barely published anything since Thursday and have not been Gather to comment to deal with groups much since then as well.

I'm still earning $1 a day... baffling when I'm not even here.

Mine slowed down quite a bit the past few days. I think it's because I haven't had as much time to read and comment? I have been surprised to realize how much that contributes to point growth.

I started today with 4427 points. I was trying to earn the 3000 points in 30 days but I just can not seem to find enough discussions that I am interested in to post to. I also can not think of articles to just write about. I am trying to earn points but it is slow going. I am glad you are doing well. Keep posting those points will roll in.

I've only been on site for a few weeks and I'm already at nearly 400 points. Reprinting some of my articles from Associated Content.com helped, although now I wish I had offered all of them non-exclusive and not just over the past several months (I've been there less than a year with 160+ stories). I've also been writing original material and leaving some comments, but I try not to overdo the time I spend on Gather. I'm researching how to build up points and came across your note. Long comments apparently count better with Gather...that's the first thing I learned. My search continues.

I actually reached the required 3125 for my very first gift card, that was cashed out for on August 18, 2008. Just received it five days ago and am writing more to qualify for another . . . quite impressive and good I followed my own advice !
