It is difficult to make a man miserable while he feels worthy of himself and claims kindred to the great God who made him.

Did someone say jelly beans???
believe and want without compromise because of what others perceive of them.
Is that what he's saying?
What a cool dude.
David,
Happy Easter to you and thanks for your post. Good luck with your move.
BTW, I found this in Wikipedia: Abraham Lincoln: A 1962 theory that Lincoln had Marfan syndrome has little currency today.[28][29] According to a 2007 theory, it is more likely that he had a different disorder, multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2B, that caused skeletal features almost identical to Marfan syndrome.[30]
BTW, I believe the price of gas there is more like the equivalent of $7-8 a gallon. They have very high gas taxes in Europe to encourage people to save energy - and all the cars are teeny by US standards.
I tend toward gas-efficient cars, and generally keep them a long time (10 years for my current Civic, 12 years for the previous one). I'm hoping they've come up with some cool looking hybrid cars by the time I come back to the states.
I don't know how much coal is burned in China, though I have seen the results first hand (the air in Beijing was pretty bad, even in December). Coal is still China's biggest source of fuel, and it tends to be the dirty kind of coal (e.g., high sulfur). People use it for heating and cooking, as well as the big industrial and electricity-producing uses.
Add to that the fact that China's energy usage is climbing faster than any other country, and that they are making arrangements with more and more of the worlds oil producers to supplement their domestic coal, and we have an environmental and energy disaster in the making. This is where the US's failure to show leadership is going to hurt us big time in the near future (oh yeah, and there's that climate change problem we'll all have to deal with).
I give you credit for being able to stay above the fray. :)
Good luck with your move! Let us know more will you!
(I'll ignore the bridge reference)
me to it. It is said that great minds think alike.
Thank You
