I defrosted a package of homemade pulled pork this morning and knew I was going to serve it with biscuits, bbq sauce and cole slaw but had no idea what recipe I was going to use. I could wing it and do things from memory but I decided to crack open The Silver Palate Cookbook. Figured they had to have a great recipe for it.
I adapted the following recipe from the book. It came out rich, creamy and delicious.

Serving Ideas : pulled pork sandwiches
NOTES : Risa's notes:
* Original calls for caraway seeds. I used celery seeds as it is a more authentic cole slaw seed.
Original calls for 1 small head of green cabbage, 1 large carrot and 1 med green bell pepper. I used the broccoli slaw mxiture at the supermarket. The original recipe makes enough for 6-8 people. If you wish to make this for a larger group, double the ingredients.
