ONE: Black folk will get so uppity. Don't they have enough already with singing and sports stars to call their own? Give them an inch and they'll take a mile. In fact we should put more limits on blackness. Look at what happened to Diana Ross for crying out loud - so righteous, so uppity, such hair !!!
TWO: Black people will always want to get on the bus before me. Even when it's raining. The way it is now, I walk to the bus door with purpose (with the poise of David Bowie) and I just get on. All that could change as the Great White Duke pose is no longer the fashion and I have to wait in line. Think about what could happen TO YOU !!!
THREE: Rap will have political messages again, like it was in the early 80s, fer shure!!! Rap is supposed to be about mean sex and expensive drugs and gangster stuff like flashing gold teeth, to make blacks looks real scary to us. Then we know how to think about them. Scared !!!!
FOUR: When we say "The WHITE House" we'll have to roll our eyes in great irony.
FIVE: He is the anti-Christ. It has been pointed out that the Bible says so !!! The anti-Christ walking around twirling dead headless chickens to the Voodoo Devil means the SECOND COMING OF CHRIST !!! We don't want Christ coming back (for some reason) so we can't have him !!!!

Now I don't, lucky man you.
Imagine how distracting it would be if a Victoria's Secret model were to become president. Hmmmm. Certainly a distraction to other world leaders. Send them VS catalogs and the wars will stop. Adriana Lima for President. Washington or 'Bust'. (I'm betting she's smarter than Bush. Most people are.)
Actually, I thought one of your reasons was going to be: Obama rhymes with Osama. (Just sayin...)
Maybe I should change this article to SIX REASONS ...
Great stuff Peter!
Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
By the way I think Kay is right. Oh Peter, what are we going to do with you! lol
I have over 20 different nationality's, have dark skin, get called all different names, but I know I am a Human, and not any of the nationality's they think I am, or wish to fight me because of the one they think I am.
Maybe I don't see myself as black white or yellow, just as a human.
And you know something, I couldn't care if they (My relatives) were / are black, brindle, yellow, pink, green, red, or white, as long as they loved each other.
Speaking of the AntiChrist.. where is he? I haven't seen him in a few days.
You mean Delores didn't start this with her original list that was more hilarious than all that followed?
Sorry, but the seriousness I feel this election has tied to it has no place for humor....especially sarcastic humor....
It's not funny anymore....there is no humor in the condition of our country and this stupid war results....I just cannot laugh anymore, be the sarcasm be directed at Hillary or Obama...
All I do know, is the thought of another Republican in the White House...scares the living B Jesus out of me..
Love the list. Hate riding the bus so I guess I don't care if I would sit in front or back.
Limit on blackness, that I would have to ponder! Hmmmm, nope still not sure how we could do that.
Rap, now that I would like to see, more 'real' rap instead of the crappola they talk out now.
Well, all that kidding aside, just don't let Billary in. She/He scares me more than anything else. I have had it with dishonest presidency on that scale.
just my view. namaste
- ha ha - and she wasn't trying to be wicked. She was earnest and serious (I think).
Although your article was funny, there actually are MORE than 5 reasons not to vote for Obama :
- no military/defense experience
- Tony Rezko
- no international connections with world leaders
- Jeremiah Wright
- no experience
- Econ knowledge = zero
- NAFTA boffo with the Canadians
There's more, but I'm sure you understand.
This guy just isn't qualified.
Oh, that's right, that was a twice-over mistake.
Two things that made Mr. Bush's candidacy more potent than Obama's :
1) Bill Clinton's awful behavior in front of a Grand Jury...........then the subsequent impeachment, leaving the nation soured on Liberals in general. Had Clinton merely had the good sense to resign (like Nixon did), Gore could have easily defeated Bush in 2000, and probably in 2004 also. That didn't happen and the rest is history.
2) Mr. Bush was a wildly popular 2-term Governor of Texas, son of a former President, and rising star in the Republican party by 1999, when the Presidential campaign kicked off. He had already written 6 state budgets and was well-liked by Texas Democrats for his bipartisanship. With an MBA from Harvard, he had tons of Economics and finance experience which helped him balance the state's budget. In 1998, he won a landslide re-election with 69% of the popular vote.
Obama by comparison, is a lackluster half-term junior Senator from Illinois, with no laws written by him since he's been in the Senate, no military or defense knowledge, no signs of bipartisanship, he's never even been to Iraq, doesn't know any of our foreign allies, and has scant awareness of commerce or Economic affairs. In short, he gives good speeches, but that's about it.
Obama can not only give good speeches but he's quick, bright and can think on his feet.
McCain is capable of doing what he promises - but no thanks. I'm not rich enough to vote for him.
why can't we have a "none of the above" vote and get another chance?
i usually just vote for the lesser evil
What, no comment on any of Obama's missing resume?
And yes, Clinton should definitely have resigned immediately after being found guilty by the Grand Jury. He knew impeachment was next on the agenda. How could he be so stupid to just let this happen? He should have fired his legal counsel for this boffo.
Had he done the smart thing and avoided impeachment by resigning, Gore would have become the President and defeated Bush handily in 2000, as most of the nation would have given him the sympathy/empathy vote. Most likely, he'd still be President today. Bad move, Bill Clinton.
Will I too as Queen have to sit in the back of the bus? He will paint the white house black, and uppity people, oh my! I'm frightened.
Funny, but I"m still not voting for him.
Thank you for alerting us to the dangers of an Obama presidency. It reminds me of what happened when we elected the first Catholic president, JFK.
Remember? It was a disaster. The entire country began taking orders directly from the Pope. Everyone had to eat fish on Friday. People who had less than eleven children were placed in concentration camps. Saying the Rosary become a required part of the public school day. All Protestant Churches were closed, and pastors like Pat Robertson and Mike Huckabee were burned at the stake. Oh, it was awful. We sure dont want to repeat that terrible period. White, WASP men only please. Just to be safe.
