I Did It!

I haven't had any income since 2005, and that was only for about 6 weeks since I couldn't physically make it to work on schedule, even part time.  I tried working full time back in 2004.  That also lasted about 6 weeks.  The last time I really worked full time - and was able to work every day - was back in 2002.  That's when I hurt my knee.  (I had hurt my back in 1997, had whiplash in 2000, the knee injury in 2002, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic depression in 2003 and arthritis in 2008.)

Since I arrived here, I wanted to get to the point where I had enough points in one month to be offered the cash option.  Any amount of real, hard cash I can earn helps the household budget, especially since hubby and I both have lots of doctor bills and prescriptions to pay. With the old, clunker computer I had, it wasn't really possible.  Everything took so long with that ol' computer. 

Now that I have this new(er) reconditioned computer, everything is different.  I can watch as many videos as I wish.  I can have a bunch of pages loaded (or loading) all at once.  I can zip though lots of articles and images and games.

And so, for the first time since I joined Gather in February, 2007, I have done it.  And you've helped me!

As of this moment, my records show that I have 3,195 points for the month of March.
