Perspective is a wonderful thing.
My dad (who is almost 92 now) went to a conference last week at Duke University. He came back tired but refreshed and excited.
He was telling me about the main speaker who was a prisoner of war in WW2.
'He must have been very young if he was in WW2 and is still alive and speaking at conferences.'
'Oh he is young.'
'Well how old is he?'
Dad's answer? 'He is only 82.'
I had to chuckle at this. What sounds old to me was young from my dad's perspective of being almost 92.
Perspective changes how everything looks.

Your dad has a great outlook.
Reminds me of my own dad.
