Don't know how many of u watched American idol tonight but Amanda Overmyer got sent home...she's been needin to go from day one, she sucked, and just plain scary in ways.. American idol is and never will be the place for her. She sings a lot like Janis Joplin and I cant stand her at all either. Who agrees this was long overdue?
I have a really hard time judging these people, who get up on stage in front of so many people, and perform (their lifelong dream) just to get shot down by not only the judges, but the live audience and those at home. The amount of hopefuls that try out is immense, so by the time they actually get to the point where the general public gets to vote for them every week, I gotta say that they are a highly talented bunch, even if there may be one or two that aren't exactly to my taste. I just hope the ones that get voted off aren't feeling too dejected.
I was surprised the judges even picked her to be on the show! Sometimes I just can't figure what they must be thinking. And then I couldn't figure why they raved about her performances.
