Ok now that we are moving I hope to get alot of animals of my own. My parents have Millers petting zoo and there own business but its always been my dream to be able to make extra money myself raising, breeding and selling animals. Now that we will have alot more room I am able to finally get some animals of my own (and not my parents!) The reason for getting our new puppy sam is of course for protecting our stock from coyotes but I love the breed and have always wanted to raise them and sell the pups to other people in my area who need them for there goats as well. There arent alot of breeders of Great Pyrenees in my area. I'm also planning on raising organic free range chickens for eggs and meat. I hope to sell the eggs at my local farmers market in the future. Brad wants to breed Babydoll sheep and another breed.Babydoll sheep are mainly for pets and he wants to raise a meat breed sheepand boer goats, because there are alot of Foreign people in my area who always want to buy them for eating. Im going to be making a website I just dont know what to call it?
Brad wants to call it something Creek since we have a big creek that runs through the property. I dont because alot of people have farm names with the word creek LOL
Or Something more simple like B&S farm Or BS Farm since those are our initials LOL. Brad doesnt like it.
We have alot of woods and rolling hills around too. And a pond. Hmmmmmmm
You can see pictures of the new place in my previous article if that would help at all.
Thanks :0)

Just a thought.
Is there a way you can combine parts of your names?
When my sister was looking for a name for their "alpaca farm", they combined parts of both of their first names and came up with Rosco (Rose & Scott). Full name is something like Rosco Sunrise Alpacas or something like that (sunrise because she can watch the sun rise over the alpaca pens).
Brazy Brook
Brazy Creek
Brazy's Farm
If you want to get more complicated you could use bradford + susan = "Bradsuforsan"
(or if it's suzanne = Bradsuforzanne)
Bradsuforsan's Burrow
You can use an on-line thesaurus to find variations for words like creek, farm, or homestead; just as a helper.
The pictures are great. It looks like some wonderful property.
Best of luck.
Glad you'll finally be able to raise some animals for resale yourself. Sounds like an enjoyable line of work.
Bill you have some awesome ideas. I love Your mixes!
Nancy that would be adorable!! Love it
And Marianne thats a very good idea as well. I will have to walk around and check out the trees!
Names.......Suzy's Zoo is already taken and it would sound too much like your parents. What about something with Ark? I am not a bible person, but I think it is cute when people use that as a reference. Since you want to work with the GP's, why not The Great Ark or Pyrenees' Ark? Pyrenees might be hard for most to spell though.....
What other critters / breeds are you planning on raising?
I had boers too. They can be a hand full, and good luck ever trying to dehorn them. Ours always grew back lol
You should look into getting some Araucana or Ameraucana chickens. They lay pastel colored eggs, and are spectacular layers. Ours laid all year round. The eggs are so unique they'll sell like hot cakes. Local businesses fought over who could buy our stock LOL
Jennifer F from California has two :) You should see how pretty her hens are
Priscilla ~ "Earthen Wonders" is a good name for a Pottery Shop!
I can't wait to hear what you have narrowed it down to Susy ~ and what you decide on.
Blessings ~
Rene
I think the meaning of Brad is a good one, Broad Meadows. I also like the one RollingHills. That was the first one to come to mind when I finished reading your article. Any landmarks close by?
I went to Thesaurus.com and got this info. Not sure it will be helpful or not.
Main Entry: creek
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: stream
Synonyms: brook, brooklet, burn, crick, ditch, race, rill, rindle, river, rivulet, run, runnel, spring, streamlet, tributary, watercourse
Notes: a stream is smaller than a river, a creek is smaller than a stream but larger than a brook; stream, brook, creek, and rivulet are applied interchangeably to any small river
Rolling Hills Springs? Dont sound to bad. Broad Meadow Springs? Look into different meanings of names, ideas, and the meanings. It might be of help?
I wish you the best of luck in finding a name. I cant wait to hear what you finally pick. The best of luck to you all in your move. Have a Happy Easter.
I have so many ideas. Thank you!
Heather We have one araucana hen now and she isnt laying at all! Im surprised. What kinds of businesses wanted to buy your eggs? Thats what I would love to do!
