A rubber spatula is probably the frugal cook's best friend. Use it to scrape out the last of the peanut butter, clean out the butter dish (for your toast), and get all the batter from a bowl. They come in all sizes....

BONUS TIP: When you have a spill in your oven, sprinkle some salt on it right away. Then when the oven cools wipe it off.

I have a billion spatulas - all colors and sizes. I love my skinny one for my ABM bread pan and there is one that has a broken top but I still use it because it is flat on top and makes it easier to scrape things out of my small skillet. Great tips. Thanks.

Rubber spatulas are great for teething kids to gnaw on too. Pop 'em in the freezer for a minute to help with gum discomfort! LOL
