I have missed everyone on gather here a lot
We have had a lot of things going on.. you all know about all the deaths we have had to encounter since november of 2006.. well there have been quite a few more.. along with my oldest graduating and joining the army reserve.. she is now attending college and discussing going active in the next couple of years...
We have lost our home to foreclosure in December and in January we moved into a rental. We tried everything we could to save the house from foreclosure, but the bank just would not work with us... we could come up with the money, but not before their deadline date... you would think that as bad as things are the banks woudl work with people just a little bit more...
Then, I sat down to eat one day in Jan. and looked down and had blood on the front of my shirt,... now that could not have been good.. it was coming out of my breast... great.. just what we needed... we have no medical insurance and i know this is not going to be very cheap to take care of...
I did find a place up north that I could go and get any medical services inside their clinic for free which ended up being a great thing as they had a mammogram machine and an ultrasound machines... so they did the mammogram and an ultrasound... well it all came back that i had a suspicious mass in my breast and a lymph node that is suspicious... great i was thinking to myself now what... cuz they do not do biopsies in their clinic.. which means that i will have to pay for it out of our income which there is nothing left over after bills and rent.. \
I have had people searchign and helping me call to find where i could go for minimal costs as a biopsy could cost anywhere form 700 to 5000 bucks.. and with it being in my lymph node also, it would most likely be the latter charges as they would have to go the OR to do the biopsy...
Well... after days of searching, we have found a place that we can go and get this biopsy done.. but it has been very difficult and stressfull the last few days as how do you decide what is more important.. a home, heat and food for your kids or a biopsy so you can be sure that you are around to see them grow up... it is very difficult to make a decision and you know the kids always come first...
so, we are working on setting up that appointment and i will keep you all informed on how things are going and what the results are when i get them all back...
I am also now diagnosed diabetic so i am taking glucophage to control my sugar levels which is not going well, they may have to up the dosage... and it is nice having meds to cover my feet pains as i have diabetic neuropathy...
I found out this past week though that with my AAA insurance for my car.. I can get prescription discounts... so instead of paying 100 for my scrip for my feet, i only end up paying 27 bucks... now that makes me wonder what the real cost of those meds are and who is really making a lot of money...

and if it is cancer there are a ton of services that will kick in and help us out... which will be great..
cancer and great just do not belong in the same sentence, I'm sorry.
honestly, sometimes I think every single US citizen that does not have reasonable medical insurance should start the paperwork to emmigrate elsewhere.... perhaps then the PTB would get the point.
I'm also very sorry to hear about all that has transpired with you. I hope and pray that it will all work out.
I surely will keep everyoen updated..
