Leanne Hausberg Missing 03/18/99 From NY

Fourteen year old Leanne Hausberg was last seen 9 long years ago, today.  The last time anyone saw her was at 9:00 AM, at her home in Brooklyn, NY.  She may still be in the area, according to The Doe Network.  Leanne is described as a bi-racial female (Native/White) she has a small scar on her right cheek.  She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Please take a look at the images of her posted here, especially the age progressed to 19 years old.

It's a shame when someone goes missing, and the years fly by without families knowing where or if they are still alive. The need for closure is always there. I sincerely hope this will be one of those cases where she is found alive and the family can have peace.

The Doe Network didn't explain it any further, Kimberly. It doesn't make sense to me either. If she was still in the area all these year's surely someone would have recognized her by now I would think. Nothing was reported about any sightings of her.
