You must be further east or south than us. I went out today to 'check the buds' on the trees, and just itty bitty babies. I am SO ready for sunshine, and green.

I am in Arizona Kathy, I have already had to cut down all the wildflowers in the yard due to neighbor complaints about the "weeds." I have spent years cultivating a veritable horde of small native flowering plants, only to have the whole project declared illegal. And as far as I know none of the small flowers I grow can be smoked, inhaled or otherwise used to "alter the mind." They just get more than 6 inches tall, and go to seed. I did save quite a few of the seeds, and we will have another go round next year.
