I talked to the lady from church that took him yesterday. She said he has started becoming aggressive with the children (one is only a year old), so she won't be able to keep him. I have to find him a new home with adults only now. She has him for now, but I will probably have to pick him up in a day or two. He was so friendly with me and did not show any aggression, so I am very surprised. He was even fine weaving in and out of the people in the park Saturday. She did say his eye was already looking much better, so that is good news.

I hope you find the best forever home for him.
I'm sure you'll find him a good home, just keep looking.
Good luck.
My daughter's dog is a real sweetie, and loves attention from humans - once they are grown up. Kids REALLY make her nervous. She doesn't get agressive, but she does start to shake and tries to hide behind the closest familiar adult human. There were kids in the family that my daughter got her from, and the reason they had to give her up had nothing to do with the kids (they were moving somewhere that the dog was not welcome), so she had been around them before (and my daughter swears the kids were not mean to the dog, and she got along well with them).
Who knows what goes on in our 4-legged froends' minds.
Having a home with only adults is probably the best. Good luck.
I know a sweet little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Miss Ladders that my friend Heidi had to find a new home for. She had raised her from a puppy through two litters and she was always just a little 'cuddle-bug' like most Cavs are. Then one day she snapped at a toddler.
She was adopted by an older woman and they are both very happy.
I hope your little "Bean Boy" finds a loving home soon.
Sometimes, some dogs just don't like certain people or certain aged people. Past experiences can teach a dog to not like men or children, etc. I had Malamute once that loved everyone. Never met a person she didn't like, until the Culligan man came to the house. She had a fierce hate for that man. He kept trying to get in the once to deliver the water, but then Tippy saw him and made it known she didn't approve. I trusted her instincts and anytime I had a delivery due, she was always by my side.
Good luck! I'm sure you'll find a great home for him soon. Make sure that all family members are present when the dog is met. You'll get a sense of how the dog feels about the family and if anyone makes him nervous. That's a good indication of the possibility of him becoming aggressive.
