Other ways to interact with decision makers is to join clubs. Sales people and business professionals belong to service clubs. Maybe you should too.

Finding a decent job nowadays means we have to meet with the decision makers. If the person doing the hiring knows you, he will be more likely to want to hire you. A great way to meet decision makers is to do it on the golf course. Business deals are made on course and on the 19th hole.

Sadly though, I don't have any type of career training that would take me down a path in the golf world to meeting some potential employer hehe.
It sounds like a great idea though if you're trying to wedge your way into a career where you'd find some potential on the golf course or the clubs.
A great way to attack many of life's problems. I couldn't meet a decent guy until I started spending a lot more time out of my house... within a few months of starting work at the Evil Empire, I had the first date I had had in three years!
It's good advice. :-)
