We don't accept this argument from our children, so why do we use it so often to excuse our politicians. If one of our guys is criticized for anything we avoid addressing the issue by pointing to all the members of the other party who have done the same thing. If it were out kids we would say "if everyone else was jumping off a cliff, would you jump too?"
I find it ummm, interesting that Spitzer must resign, but Vitter and Craig are just fine in the senate...I find that even more hypocritical than Elliot Spitzer.
