Salivating GOP
pray the nom is Hillary
if it's not they'll be in trauma
have to face Barack Obama
Hill and Bar are neck'n'neck
job loss gone way up by heck
better talk about inflation
homelessness across the nation
Or you'll both be flash-in-pans
like eilte Republicans
Democrats it's yours to lose
US got the Spitoon Blues.
jc 3.9.08 ...full version may be found at Stars Over Washington (link in my Comment below), and you know I'm a kidder, right? Imagine--rhyming as if there's 'change' acomin' from within the current crop of possible presidents...puh! Puh! I say. Change can be for the worse as well, can't it? "The Big Picture must be followed--very little option to do otherwise" is more the order of their day.
Wish I could believe there's a real difference between any of the three candidates. The dreary path America is on she will be on still, no matter who "wins" and I can't feel better about it, so there it is.
And The People can't do anything about the situation because most of The People don't believe The Fix is permanently in. But ask yourself: why should the 2008 elections be any different than the last few? Haven't they expended time, effort, money, and massive propaganda on having things just the way they are now? Do you really think they'll give a presidential election's outcome over to...The People whom they disdain?

homelessness across the nation""""
If Bill Clinton couldn't solve homelessness after 8 years what makes you thin hill or bar can?
And Jude, if the hyperlink button is working then you need to use that to create the link. If not, you can create it in Word and paste it onto your article. That's what I had to do.
I don't expect Hillary to solve homelessness, I expect her to put a big dent in a growing problem so that those that succeed her can make the dent bigger until the state of being homeless is no longer problem except as the result of a mental aberration that makes it preferable to a very few.
Expecting presidents to work what would be miracles adds to sense of dissatisfaction people feel when politicians do not live up to what often are unreasonable expectations.
I actually tried that but maybe it needed a little time to go Live...guess I haven't kept up well with Gather changes...pages load slowly with dial-up, my only option here on Turtle Lane so I find getting behind a very simple matter to manage. Keeping up? Not so much.
Actually Stars Over Washington now has the image of the Solar Return 2008 chart for the Iraq War's 5th anniversary this Wednesday. Solar Returns are good for a year until the next 'birthday' so check it out if you have an interest in mundane astrology...details are written in English.
