Movies I Am Looking Forward To

What movies this year are you looking forward to? I hope this is a good summer for movies. It seems like about every third year or so the summer movies are a flop (at least for me).

Movies I'm looking forward to:

  • 10,000 BC
  • Horton Hears a Who (Although I'll probably wait until the DVD comes out, I don't want to spend the ticket money, popcorn money, soda money and gas money to see a cartoon.)
  • Iron Man
  • The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
  • Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (Right now, I'm just hoping to not be disappointed by the new IJ movie.)
  • Sex and the City
  • The Incredible Hulk (It could be worse than "The Hulk" could it? Definitely better than "Spawn".)
  • Hellboy II: The Golden Army (I loved the first Hellboy movie. How cute is that, he loves kittens!)
  • Batman: The Dark Knight (Batman is my favorite of all the superheroes.)
  • The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars (The theatrical debut of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" is only the beginning of all-new "Star Wars" adventures that continue in the fall when the long-awaited television series premieres on Cartoon Network, followed by airings on TNT. The Clone Wars is my favorite era of the Star Wars saga. I hope this lives up to expectations. I loved the Clone Wars short animation episodes they did on the Cartoon Network before the premiere of Revenge of the Sith.)
  • Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (I am a huge huge huge Harry Potter fan, and I have loved all the movies so far. I'm glad they're splitting Deathly Hallows into two parts because halfway through the book I was wondering how the heck they were going to be able to fit most of the important stuff into a movie.)
  • The Day the Earth Stood Still

Out of those, I'm looking forward to Indiana Jones, Batman, Sex & The City, Narnia, The Mummy, and Harry Potter.

I'm so glad they are splitting DH's into 2 movies as well, but I almost wish they'd done that with more of the others, because it feels like so much content was lost.

I bet I only see maybe 5 at the theater... it's so expensive anymore to go to the movies.

I guess its the next Harry Potter for me although I'd like to see the next Batman too.

I agree about splitting some of the other Harry Potters too... especially Goblet and Phoenix. Chunks were taken out of both.

I was gonna put Star Trek on the list, but when I looked it up I seen it's not due out until 2009.

I can't remember right now! Got a list written down somewhere. I often don't get time to watch shows. Guess I have to save that for when the kids are grown up, lol!

I haven't been inside a regular movie theatre in years - I think the Apostle was the last movie I watched in one - I go backwards - I'm fixin to order Louisiana Hussy...ever heard of that one! Have a wonderful day Dark. Salud.

I want to see Vantage Point that's out now becasue I like Matthew Fox. Out of your list I think 10,000 BC and the Horton movie look good.
