Whether it be happiness, health, or anything else, we all have goals that we do not consistently work to achieve. Whether it be that you want to quit smoking, lose weight, get a new job (or a raise), take on a new project, work on your car/home, or anything else, you have barriers (whether natural or artifically made) that hold you back.
So tell us, what are your goals and what seems to hold you back?
Further, what will you do to get beyond these barriers and work towards your goals?

I'm hoping to use my brief time in the mornings when I actually feel human to work on the books. I have a plan. I have 4-5 books I want to write. One already has 21 chapters done. I'll just cross my fingers and trust it's enough.
Iusually dont have the funds to do something when I have the time to do it....
or the time when I have the means....
and although I am very creative and am told to work my hobbies...they usually dont gain me anything...but then I see someone else take the same idea and turn it into a gold mine.....
so I retired, downsized, and am working at learning to live a very very simple life..and took an easy job that does not stress me out....
but the pay sucks
I dont hink I am supposed to have money...at least not the easy way.....
I also never could drive a car. That was due to double vision, now corrected and Coordination problems.
What holds me back is overwhelm. I have so much stuff stored away that when I think of starting to clear things out, I start to feel overwhelmed by the sheer enormity of the task.
They might be incredible things, but I lose interest and move on to something else.
Even with that in my way I am losing a little. Just not as much as I could be. In the past 2 months I have lost 20 pounds, if I could do more walking I could lose more.
