Today Seth, my 1st grader, had an Easter Celebration at school. The kids only get two parties a year so this one was called a celebration and not a "party" so the First Grade teachers were able to "get away with it." I went and took several pictures, though this photo essay is afterwards (I'll be posting more photo essays later...sorry...you'll probably get tired of seeing my kids hehe).
So anyway, Seth got to make bunny ears at the Easter Celebration. I left after the Celebration and came back an hour later to pick up my oldest, Chase and Seth. I walked to Chase's classroom because I need to take the goody bags to his class that they're handing out tomorrow (Seth got to hand out his today). After I talked to Chase's teacher, I went to Seth's classroom because I wanted to look at an art project the kids had done. The teacher (who was Chase's teacher when he was in first grade) asked if he wanted a pair of bunny ears. He said yes and she made him some.
Of course as we left the classroom, a heard a ding ding ding (in my own head of course) and had them pose by a wall. I LOVE how these pictures turned out. You can't tell that they fight daily if you go by these pictures! I especially love the one of Chase kissing Seth's cheek. Afterwards, Seth was upset about it. When we got home, I showed him the picture and he went "EWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Mom. Never show me that again." hehe. Poor Seth. He doesn't know yet, that I plan to get a print of that picture and frame it!
Here are the pictuers. I wished I had taken more of them!

what great pics!
You have some handsome boys Shannon.
Sherry, yes they are in public school. They purposely changed the names for Winter Break and Spring Break back to Christmas and Easter break. I thought it was silly myself to waste the money of holding the meetings just to change the names.
Thanks for posting to All Photo Essays Here!
