Woman grows into toilet seat

No joke.  A woman who stayed on the toilet for two years had literally grown into the seat.  Her boyfriend thought it judious after two years to call for help.  The woman didn't want to leave her perch.  So, the paramedics had to take her to the hospital seat and all. 
One has to wonder what took the boyfriend so long.  I smell a rat.

I think the boyfriend has mental health issues and needs just as much help as the woman. JMO... :(

I read about this last night and then again just a short while ago.
They are not sure how long she was on there, they are guessing at about 2 years. She had a phobia about leaving the bathroom. That is why she said in there. Her boyfriend said she didnt always sit on the toilet that she moved around in the bathroom, showered and changed her clothes. He brought her food and water too.
She is in fair condition at a Wichita, Kan., hospital. But she has an infection in her legs that has damaged the nerves and she could end up needing a wheelchair. I hope they plan on getting her some mmental help as well.
Do you think the boyfriend should be charged for this?

A nursing home in Ca. did something like this to my Grandmother at least for the entire time she was out of bed she was tied to a comode and when my brother call out the charge nurse she called him a trouble maker. Sometimes the things people do sucks !

I heard this on the news and couldn't believe it! I can't believe the boyfriend might comeup on charges but I think it's the only thing they can do do help the poor woman out... I think they just want someone to blame though

I read about this yesterday on MSN or Yahoo I think. It's both gross and sad. It's hard to tell if the couple BOTH had mental problems or if this woman was being abused. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they publicize more info

OMG! I think they both are in dire need of mental help! And the boyfriend should be charged with something, in the nature of abuse, for not getting her the help she,obviously needed.

i heard about this. Good grief, there are strange people in this world. I go insane being in the same room for a day! let alone 2 years.

This is a sad story. It is hard for people( in some states) who have strange mental problems to get the help they need. There is just no funding for it.

The person who grew into her couch was very obese and simply couldn't move anymore so she stayed on the couch. These cases and the people who enable them are so sad. It's hard to judge any of them unless you have all the facts. What sad things we do to ourselves. thanks for posting
