My friend, Patty, sent me flowers for my 55th birthday Monday -- delivered and EVERYTHING! Getting things delivered out here in the "Boonies" of Cloverdale in Northern California isn't exactly an easy thing, I'll tell ya... (The delivery guy had to call TWICE to find us...)
But, in the end, it was worth it!
Now, Patty happens to know that I have this "thing" for green flowers and she told the florist to be sure and put green flowers in the arrrangement so, it might not be the kind that you're used to seeing or even like but, I ADORE IT!
Here's a shot of what the whole bouquet looks like:

That angle didn't show off all the wonderful miniature yellow roses that were in the bouquet so here's another shot that does... (My grandmother -- who was from Texas -- LOVED yellow roses... Whenever I see them I think of her...)

I especially liked the green chrysanthemums that were in the bouquet (since I'm a "green flower nut" anyway!):

I thought they were WAY cool!
But my favorite flowers of all were the "Bells of Ireland" which has always been one of my absolute favorite flowers of all time! Here's a shot with the "Bells" in the middle:

It was wonderful of Patty to send me flowers but the best part was that she remembered what kind of flowers were my favorite and made sure to tell the florist to put some in the arrangement... That, my friends, is "thoughfulness" at its best!

Great flowers and glad that you have such a wonderful friend
My flower is in no way as nice as yours, but. . .
Happy Birthday Glitter
I do, Tanya...lol... I used to grow "bells" all the time but I've never seen plants for sale, only seeds for some reason...
Thanks, Ellen... It WAS nice, wasn't it?:o)
Thank-you, Deborah... She IS a wonderful friend!
Awww... Thanks, Toni! :^D
Thank-you, Penni... Yes, I make "driftwood mobiles" (waaaaay back in my articles you will find complete directions). I love natural things of all types... You and I have something in common then!
Thanks so MUCH, Marie!
I really like the "Bells of Ireland." Loe, Michael
