The Found Dog (Boston Terrier)

sounds like getting losted could turn out to be the best thing that has ever happened to the poor puppy.

She said she couldn't handle him. I'm not really sure though.

OMG!!! that is terrible how you went to all of this trouble to find the owner and she doesn`t even want him. I am glad you are taking care of him until he finds a good home. I feel so bad for the dog. he is so cute too. I hope he finds a real nice new owner and home.

How cute. I would take him. It sounds as if she turned him lose and was hoping someone would take him in. What a witch!

I love those little bug-eyed buggers. I've only met a couple, but they were remarkably sweet dogs.
I'm concerned about the conjunctivitis problem though. I've always heard that it is extremely contagious and that quarantine and exaggerated forms of anti-sepsis is advised.
With all the other critters you surround yourself with, it sounds potentially dangerous.

Such a cute dog! I feel so bad for it because the owner not wanting it.

Mugg, I have been careful to keep him separate from everyone else and wash me hands after I touch him. It is getting better with the drops, so hopefully it will clear up in a couple of days.

Hes such a cute fella. I use to have one, She was everything to me. Cant imagine why she didnt want him. Baby ( My Boston Terrier) Was the sweetest dog. She went every where with me. Hiper, but just as much loving than anything. Wishing the best for him!

Poor pup! I don't understand how people can just throw their pets away like that when there are other alternatives like finding a new home or taking him to a shelter (preferably "no-kill".)

That ower needs to get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!Bostons are one of the better house dogs.If it was not so far away I would take that poor pet child.I don't understand how anyone can treat a pet that way.If Sassy would wonder off I would beat the bushes until I found her and put adds in the paper here.I know we all have our picks as pets and I have had Boston terriers for the last 35 years.

Someone up there was looking out for the dog. Obviously the owner needs to have a karmic wake up call. I'm glad the puppy will find a good home where he will be loved and protected.

That's a little strange the owner said you can keep him. He is a cutie. I hope your co-worker will take him in.

I can't imagine losing our dog and not wanting it and telling the person who found him that they could have the dog!! Some people are so weird!

i'm thinking the dog was hit ( you said he acted like he thought you might hit him) and dumped. His roaming may have been a way of getting rid of him. Glad you didn't give him back. Hopefully he finds a home.

That's sad that his owner didn't even care if you kept him. Poor little guy :( His next home will be happy.

I hate when people does that too pets. I really hope you find him a good home good luck I don't blame you for not wanting too spend hundreds of dollars on him even though he is cute.
I hope for another animal that the owner of the dog does not get another pet. Did that irritate you?

I can't even imagine the mentality of that owner - what a lucky dog to be rid of such a heartless person. Does she know what a treasure she has and how can one go on with life when you can't even honor and appreciate a loving animal???? You know I've never purchased a dog or cat or any of my menagerie of animals - I do not need papers and don't need purebreds. All of my animals came from the streets and had problems but you know what - they have hearts - and they love me unconditionally and I am going to return that love...and do everything in my power to keep them safe. I would take that dog in a heartbeat but I really can't due to three dogs and a number of cats (all fixed) ...Thank you for what you are doing and taking care of this very darling dog - my heart goes out to it - I am just not believing the insensitivity of some people - well, what goes around comes around and she'll be left on the side of the road someday for sure wondering where she'll go next.
