SPRING VANQUISHING WINTER

Amazing things have been happening in the course of a week. This has been a strange winter, with many weeks of unseasonably warm weather. And then, when March began, we had snow, quite a bit of it. With the snow came a very cold wind and freezing temperatures. For several days all the green grass was white, then covered in ice. Eventually the ice gave up, vanquished by the wind and the sun...
