A Recipe A Day- Polish Style Lasagna

When I first read this recipe over, I wondered who would be crazy enough to eat something like this. But really, it is similar to a pierogies, and I love those! I would however, use real potatoes in place of the instant and maybe add some garlic to them.

I think this would also be good with 'kraut, cabbage, Polish sausage or even cheddar cheese.

Ok, I had the same initial thought at first when I saw the title. I mean, I love lasagna, but I'm Polish enough to know that even dumb as we are (supposedly) we wouldn't do that! It's just not right.
But with your explanation, I'm much relieved and will take a look at it. Thanks Shannon.
It really doesn't do much for me as it's written, but you're right; with some sauerkraut and brats or something it would be tempting...

I think I'd make it, we love perogi's. I'd make it mashed, instead of instant, add some chedder cheese, it would be a good side dish,
