Prayer Chain, link 63

Kathryn sent me this request via email: "Could you add my loved one and I to the prayer list. Pray that my loved one humbles himself to God and that we mend our relationship." 

Robin also had an email request: "I need prayers that I find a job and soon. I have been looking for over a year. I finally just started getting the momentum going and now the woes of the economy are starting to factor in. I have two small children that I need to support and we are temporarily living with Grandma. It's hard for everyone involved. I need prayers. Thanks much."

I'm still working my way through the Psalms, so today it's Psalm 63:

   ¹O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

   ²To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

   ³Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

   ⁴Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

   ⁵My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

   ⁶When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

   ⁷Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

   ⁸My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

   ⁹But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

   ¹⁰They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

   ¹¹But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

As always I'm constantly working on this, and will be throughout the day. I try to get it up as early as I can for the early risers among us.

We begin our permanent prayer requests each day with prayers for our troops and for ALL governments and leaders around the world WHETHER WE LIKE OR BELIEVE IN THEM OR NOT. It is right and proper to pray for their safety, enlightenment and wisdom... as well as to pray for their souls. Also pray for all of our countries and their people: born and unborn. Especially the many who have never heard of our Lord or His love.

Please pray, too, for an end to ALL violence and modern-day slavery: true peace. REAL civilization. For as long as the barbarism of any killing is still tolerated; no man, woman or child can truly rest assured. If we were to stop killing and focus on LIFE we could likely put an end to nearly all disease as well as explore the furthest reaches of the universe. We destroy ourselves by our limiting beliefs. Instead of trying to prevent overpopulation by diminishing our numbers through slaughter we should be seeking extraterrestrial colonization possibilities. Yet if we do not curb our thirst for blood those exploits would also soon be doomed to extinction as well. Read Isaiah 65.

Don't forget to pray for our own economy and that wise men will rise up and restore our country's infrastructure of manufacturers before we become a land that is nothing but a playground for the rest of the world. Also for the habitats we have been destroying in our quest to make more money building homes for mankind.

Please also continue to lift up in prayer all those from previous links. Even those whose prayers may have been answered... and ESPECIALLY gather members who have been missing for a while. Don't forget pray for each other as well... Including those who don't request prayer but may nonetheless need it.

As you can see, I never got the new table made yesterday. I will try to get to it today, but wanted (as always) to get this posted as early as possible.
