Just got back and thought I'd share some greenery with everyone..........

 

That's a flowering gardenia tree on the right.....................

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 It was 80 degrees and beautifully humid - and in.....Massachusetts!  Greenfield , Massachusetts, in a place called Magic Wings - a butterfly garden.  Did I fool anyone?

Hey Cristina! Middle-Western Massachusetts is slightly warmer than anywhere in NH - but they still had snow outside the butterfly houses. Inside - dreamy! Thanks for swinging by to get warm!

Well, Apryl - it felt like Florida, minus the salty air - but it was WARM and beautiful. Many thanks for stopping by to take a mini-vacation!

I just had to try an early April Fool, Cindy. It was simply wonderful to be surrounded by tropical trees, butterflies of every color ( they didn't show up in the photos - but the butterflies are everywhere - including on all the people there.) - fish, lizards, and button quail - you have to watch your step so you don't squash them............ thanks for reading!

Love the colors in those photos. Has me longing for spring and fond memories of our visit to the butterfly gardens at Callaway Gardens, GA when our kids were little.

Joan - I've never been to a butterfly garden - and what a treat! I kept looking on my shoulder, my front, and there was a beautiful butterfly! Just wonderful!

Hello , Faith! Well - when I heard your flowers were blooming in Alabama, I just had to find some way to find Spring up here! Those koi were huge and beautiful - and the thrill of seeing butterflies everywhere -- it was heaven!

Beautiful photos. Thanks for lifting my spirits. I thought it was Olbrich Gardens in Madison, WI. Plants, flowers, bridge, koi, butterflies, it's all here, too. If I ever get to Massachusetts, I'll try to visit Magic Wings.
