I finally broke 1,000 points!

I comment as much as possible on articles and images. For not getting points for doing this, I am somehow accumulating points. I also write as much as time allows. Congratulations on hitting 1,000 points, I'm working towards 2,000.

I with Fran S. The points are a nice side effect. But my points seem to jump with the more articles I write. On the other hand my wife says comment and comments does better.

congratulations on hitting 1,000. I view and comment on as many articles and images as I can. There's nothing like hitting that first 1,000 points.

I view and comment as much content as I can possible get around to. I also reach out, and send friends requests as frequently as I can, along with accepting any that come my way.

Also, I've read somewhere, the more active a person is on Gather, the more quickly their points will build up.

I don't really keep track of what earns points, I just do what I want to do on Gather and the points are just a nice side effect

Congrats getting to 1,000 Bill. I always comment on every article
and all images (pictures) that are posted. You can click on Images
and get lots of points that way too. Have a great day!!

I've heard that longer comments get more points, too. I see a lot of comments that just say 'Interesting' or 'Cool article' like the commenter didn't even read it. I'm sure those don't get as much as what I've seen in this article so far. Writing complete sentences surely helps! =)
