Hedgehog Update Betsey 8 Days

Betsey's babies are now 8 days old!  I am really happy with this litter.  They are getting big and two of the males have almost no color yet, so I think they may be high whites.  I will have to wait and see if they get more colored quills, but as of now their skin is pink.  She has all 9 babies right now (5 of hers and 4 of Indie's--see my other article for the full story).

Katherine, yes Betsey has Indie's babies now. Indie decided to run off. I will see how she is doing tomorrow and may try to reunite them, but they needed milk right away.

Reminded me of Sculley and Mulder, our hedgehogs from the 90's. They bith died :sigh: got some type of infection. They were so much fun!

In our local pet stores I've seen them go for $150-$200 each ... so you could earn a chunk of change if you can't find a way to adopt them out on your own.
