wings of beauty....
the wonderful flight of the
autumn leaf
you discover
the hidden sparks
of life foretold
driven by the naked
flame of ambition
joyful relief...
a celebration of life
well lived
a great sense
of self-worth overwhelms
the blissful soul
caught in the delightful vortex
of the autumn rays
dreamtime gardener...
sowing the seeds of passion
with new vigor
behold the delicate
leaf in her golden best
this joyful night...
holding the gentle hand
of autumn with lustful eyes
you sketch beautiful
dreams on the yellow moon...
luscious muse
your scarlet
lips spring to life; flashing
a smile of pure love...
nurturing the bubbly years
of the ageless soul

The way you have compiled the beauty of Autumn is incredible. At the same time its engrossing and seems so natural. that flame of ambition to the ageless soul magical journey of Autumn . I find it much different take on this lovely season. You are a naturally gifted poet and your poem smiles with you and projects your talent.
Wonderful and here's my yummy #10
Best wishes
Thanks Lawrence
Thank you! And you were right...my bad mood was gone by the next morning...I'm lucky they don't stick long with me.
Wonderful Lawrence.
I thought there wasn't any darkness in your poems, and here you are celebrating death! (I should have read it more carefully the first time). I find your personification of death (at the end) scary and beautiful at the same time: "your scarlet lips spring to life; flashing a smile of pure love..."
Overall, though, what a gentle and loving death you describe; part of the natural life-death cycle. This poem believes in reincarnation as well, hinted at by stanzas 2 and 5 and confirmed in your final lines.
This gentle death reminds me of a quote that might be from Confucius, although I've never been able to verify that:
"Without dying, how can one know that death is not the greatest joy?"
Wonderful job.
Pay it forward group
