Winning the Lottery isn't always what it's

cracked up to be!

It was not the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

I won the Amwrican Dream, but I lost it!

It was a hard fall,

It's called rock bottom!

Everybody wanted my money!

Everybody had there hand out!

I never learned that one simple word

No!

I made mistakes!

Some I regret

Some I don't

I was careless!

I was foolish!

Now I am bankrupt!!!!

I can't go back!

Now I go forward!

One step at a time.

I've heard stories such as this poem. I know if I was fortunate to win I would not change nor would I be foolish with my money, and you can count on that. I've learn to much in the past to ever be foolish enough to squander the money. I'm sure I would help a handful of people, such as family members, and a few friends.

Money doesn't fix all issues. It can pay bills. It can heal hurt feelings. It can give you stuff. But it can't buy love and respect. Winning the lottery just means that you have more money; you are still the same person.

Surely all of us would like to think that we wouldn't just blow though it all and go into bankruptcy, but so many do.

Anyway, rap lyrics? I can see that. But, they would have to go on for much longer.
Btw, did anyone know that Psalms, from the Bible, were originally intended to be chanted in a way similar to today's hip-hop / rap?
