If you had to make $1000.00 in a month, what could you do to make the money? This is other than your regular income of course.

ya'll have some great ideas.

The reason that I ask is that I am doing a refresher course on my Dave Ramsey Financial Peace Univiersity and first thing you have to do is get $1000.00 and put it in an "emergency fund" and just put it in a savings acct for "emergency" only...not for a new couch but for "emergency"

I have about 575.00 so far from my Ebay sales and need a kick in the pants for the rest. I do sell a product on the side and really need to get a website going to promote my item. I will also be selling my sewing items at a major flea market/trade post in the next few months.

Gather up old gold items and turn in for the price of gold (e.g., gold left over from a filling after the tooth is gone, gold band from a prior marriage ending in divorce, thick gold necklace from someone I no longer like, broken gold chain,etc.).

Tracey.....I think that I am supposed to be reading this as I am working on attracting prosperity :>))......and have some same-as-cash options due here in a couple of months! I will be getting my tax refund....and will also check-out posting some non-used items on Craig's List. Could also start selling my photographs at Dunedin Fine Arts Center in their gift shop. And am pursuing a contracted position for some extra work fitting patients with external defibrillator vests.

You might also check-out www.freewebs.com to set-up and easily design your own website to market your product....your address would be www.freewebs.com/ (your name or products name/business name).

We were short on cash one month and actually went through all of our old books, cds and movies and sold them on Amazon.com. Surprisingly, we earned about $500. in two weeks. I was so grateful!

There are quite a few companies that hire tele-commuters, so you can take phone orders at home. It wouldn't take too long to earn a thousand bucks.

I'm going with Chris on this one. If you haven't had a yard sale recently, and you're willing to sell some things you'd otherwise keep hold of, then a good yard sale can bring in $1,000.
