My oldest two children both had a Valentine's Day party on Valentine's Day (of course) but I had to prepare for it before time. I'm the goody bag Mom. For every holiday and for the end of school, I put together little goody bags. It's something I like to do and my kids like that I do it. I'm on a low budget so it's not something that costs a lot but they're still a lot of fun. I had to make 40 goody bags between the two classes but I made a couple extra to give to the kids of the parents that came in to help with the party. In my oldest son's class I made the party newsletter and helped with the party because I'm the Room Mother. Since this was my first year as Room Mother, I wanted to do the best job I could. Anyway, I was mainly in my oldest son's class but I popped into my middle son's class. This was an especially special time for my oldest son because he went home sick the day of his Christmas Party and missed it.
Without further ado, here are the pictures.
Getting ready to make the goody bags
Getting the sweets ready to feed the hoards of sugar hungry children in my oldest son's class.
My oldest son with his teacher
Waiting for the party to start
Finally! Sugar!
At this point, I ran to go pop into my other son's class. That's what I hate about having two school age children. I can't be there for either of their entire party. :P
My middle son started handing out the goody bags. But you can't see him. You can only see the top of his head at the very end of the row, he's standing up with the bags.
My middle son handing out more bags. He's the one in the middle with the white bag.
Still handing out goody bags. The little boy in the greenish jacket used to be close friends with him in Kindergarten. They couldn't even leave without hugging each other. They don't do that so much anymore, though they are still friends.
Opening his own goody bag
Enjoying some sweets
Holding up one of the candies that he chose to be in the goody bag (gummy snake with two jellybeans for eggs)
I raced back to my oldest son's class to see what I was missing.
My oldest son checking out some of his goodies.
Wondering when Mom will quit taking pictures.
No. I haven't had enough sugar.

Munching on Cotton Candy

Some of his classmates asked if I could take their picture too.
Then we came home and had some more Valentine Fun but that's another photo essay.

I have a bum leg. So, I can walk well or manuver around the little desks and chairs. I trip to easy. So, I just send things.
Could you send me a email on how to make my pictures big on a photo essay. I don't know how to do them, mine are always at the top right. Thanks
