A Day in the Woods, tralala

I live in the woods, and I walk in these woods with wonder and care.

First get the dog for the walk

Then find the path through the woods, and start stepping

On the walk you will find a rock, stop and look. Admire the rock, take a picture of the rock.

After the rock is a pond, with leaves at the bottom and reflections of the trees and sky.

Notice the tree with the gnarly roots, focus on the complexity of the root system.

In the distance is an old bell tower on a building that is soon to be torn down.

The end of the walk and now on to Gathering LOL

Thanks for the walk. Nice of you to let us go along. To bad they are going to tear down the beautiful building. It is so filled with culture. They will probably put up an ugly apartment project or metal building. Enjoy the view for now.

I don't know what the town is going to put there in place of that building but I hope it is not too horendous.
I try to walk everyday, for about an hour and a half . Lots of woods in my town, so I can go to town by following the old railroad track with out hitting any of the main streets. Tralala

Thank you for inviting me along on your walk. I am also sorry to hear that the beautiful old bell tower is coming down. We've lost so many of our lovely landmarks here too.
