Want to learn how to speak Spanish? Personally I found I was best suited to learning Spanish online but that's just me. Whichever method you decide on, I've put together a few tips below that I found helped me quite a lot in the very early days of my course and hopefully you will find them helpful too.
Just how much of your day you give to implementing these tips will depend on how much of the language you are wanting to learn. A planned vacation somewhere south of the border probably means you just want to learn enough to get you by should you manage to break away from the tourist hot spots.
It's worth remembering though that America is now the fourth largest Spanish speaking nation in the world and that Spanish is now the fourth most popular language in the world. In fact, the worlds Spanish speaking population is now out growing the English speaking population for the first time, so as you can see, it really is a great time to learn how to speak Spanish and if you use this tips while learning Spanish online, there is no reason why you won't be holding a conversation with a native Latin American in just 8 weeks from now.
One of the best tips to try when you are first starting out learning how to speak Spanish is to find ways to bring the language into your daily life. Most cable providers offer a Spanish channel in your television service package, so try watching the news a few times a week to see if you can follow the story lines based on the picture clues.
Also, listen to a local Spanish radio station to help you learn Spanish because chances are you will be able to pick out a few words that you are familiar with and you will also learn new phrases and their meanings by listening to Spanish radio announcements and songs.
You can even use your mobile phone if you are looking for other ways to learn how to speak Spanish simply by setting the language to Spanish; you can then use the prompts given to help you learn phrases and numbers, since you will be pressing certain buttons on your phone.
The above tips will help but obviously you need to also be taking a Spanish course if you want to learn in a timely manner. Of course back in the day, if an adult wanted to learn how to speak Spanish as a second language, it meant going to night class. I tried it but couldn't get into it. A week between classes was too long for me and I couldn't get back into a classroom mentality after such a long time out of school.
That's why I tried learning Spanish online. I wanted to learn at my own pace and when I wanted to study rather than at a set time once a week. I chose the Rocket Spanish course because of its great customer feed back. It also came with a full money back guarantee promise for 8 weeks which removed any lingering doubt I may have had.
I needn't have worried though, the course was excellent. I was able to take in it's short 20 minute audio lessons very fast and it was also great fun so it kept my interest going at the very beginning when most people tend to give in.
Click here for details of the course and you could be speaking Spanish a lot sooner than you think.
