OK, I'm looking at 529 plans here in Iowa. I want to try to provide for my daughters' educations while also, hopefully, providing some tax relief too. While looking on SavingForCollege.com, and going to their list for Iowa, there are TWO plans listed. Both of which appear to be from the Treasurer of State, Michael L. Fitzgerald. The first one is called College Savings Iowa and the second is Iowa Advisor 529 Plan. Both of the web sites for these two plans are under the upromise.com domain. - What is the REAL difference between these two plans?
- IS there a difference between these two plans?
- Are they really two different plans?
VS.

The Billion Dollar Swindle - 529 Savings Plans
Still NOTHING from the folks at the Iowa Treasurer's Office. *GRRRR*
Very good question, Michael. Unfortunately, I don't know much about economic plans. I did, however, post a discussion about saving money for college in the current economic climate. If you'd like to comment, I would very much appreciate it. Here's a link. Thanks so much!
