We've been listening to the radio and the roads were bad this morning, the quote I read online was "Driving is wicked"~ I'm sure people up north will think this isn't any big deal but it is for us!!
I-44 had people stuck in the cars and no traffic moving for more than 2 hours because 5 semis jackknifed across the road. I heard snow plows were in the ditch, city buses were stuck sideways across the road and one of the on ramps for I-44 had a gas carrying semi (sorry, I can't think what you call it) that jackknifed and was blocking off the ramp.
The really bizarre thing is that 20 miles to our west they got NO SNOW AT ALL!!
That is that weird variable Springfield MO weather for you!

It looks so pretty out there and my son is on his way out to play in it.
Now we can say we really had snow.
Now when is Spring coming?????

The newspapers website says that police have closed Kearney and Kansas and Norton and Kansas. That pretty much leaves us trapped at home.
John Coleman the creator of the weather channel was on the tube this morning touting how Al Gore and his cult are so wrong. He said China has had its worst winter in decades, that we have more snow on the northern hemisphere tis winter than ever recorded,that the Arctic ice pack is back not only in full force, but is in some places 10 to 20 cm meters thicker than before.....
so now what :>) Maybe we remove the political left wing kooks from the realms of real science
