Why on earth did Tolle choose to read this book himself? He is the worst reader I've ever listened to. His monotone voice will literally put you to sleep. I feel ego can be the only reason and ironically the purpose of the book is to teach us to overcome the pride and vanity of the ego so we can become more conscious and aware of the Present. I think Tolle has severe ego problems.

Reading the book right now and I am liking what I am reading. As far as Tolle reading his own book, many other religious and spiritual leaders do the same, and most not well. I rather read the book, I find that I can read a little, think a little, read some more and think some more.
